I just finished filing a formal complaint with the College of Pharmacists of BC, and wanted to let you know as well I am seeking advice on legal action against you and specifically a pharmacist name "Teraz" at the colwood location . She refused to provide any other identifying information, registration number or last name.
I provided a paper listing information for a 3 rd party insurer. While speaking to the assistant, "Teraz" began accusing me of using inappropriate language, took the paper and threw it back at me . I asked to please tell me what I said so I could apologize ? Then she admitted to lying, and said now it's "the sound of my voice " that she doesn't like, not what she originally accused me of, in front of my son, and a store full of customers.
I was humiliated. She then proceeded to tell me to be go to another pharmacy in the future because she doesn't like me, and " doesn't have to deal with anyone I don't like ".
I asked what it was she doesn't like about me, because it sure feels like discrimination. Is it the color of skin ? My gender?
Ah we then accused of yelling and escalating matters and again threatened to not provide services.
I was calm , spoke clearly and slowly the entire time. I have a condition in which my voice is raspy and low from a surgery , and to be told I am not welcome to pick up my medication due to this is absolutely criminal, and she should be held accountable for her discriminatory behavior. She beraded me in front of my family and customers , to the point my son had tears. Even once she knew the error was hera, not mine, no apology.
Nothing.
Still blamed me. Even though all I asked was for them to call the number I provided to correct any misunderstandings, and she refused. But magically, when I went to my car and had the insurance company call her, all of a sudden she was willing to help , and knew exactly what to do. If this isn't discrimination I don't know what is.
Over the next few weeks please feel free to read any of dozens of reviews I post warning everyone about the behavior of your staff.
This is a direct impact on rexall, and you should be aware of the kind of person representing your business. I am sure you will be hearing from the College of Pharmacists of BC in the near future as well, as I have began the complaints process ,and am getting legal advice on a discrimination case against rexall and "Teraz"
If I do not hear back within 48 hours I will take that as no response.

One might think that renewal of prescriptions should be simple. Not at Rexall.
On the past 5 occasions over four years no one single time have my prescriptions been available on time. And, they will not even tell you when or if they might be ready. One of their computers tells you they are approved; apparently, a second computer says they are not. You never know what if any essential medications you ever will receive or when, The shop employees are rude, and totally unhelpful.
"Customer Support" is a joke. Total incompetence throughout. Untrained employees, terrible service. For the 5th time I await access to life saving medications approved my doctor days earlier - not knowing if ever will receive them.
I am 73 years old, frail and unwell.
I am very tired on Rexall plying Russian Roulette with my Health. Again,

- Up until now i was happy with them for almost 30 years

User's recommendation: I would have to recommend that customers count their pills before they pay for them, especially if you're dealing with a new pharmacist no matter how long you have been doing business with the store. I've been doing business with this pharmacy for almost 30 years but they have a new pharmacist now and he shorted me 30 pill, he gave me 60 pills when it was supposed to be 90 pills now I have to go without for 10 days because the new pharmacist can't count
